Furnace Creek, Death Valley National Park, Ca

Death Valley Furnace Creek Campsite Death Natural Bridge Death Valley Dry Lake
Our visit was in early January 2006. We stayed in Sunset Campground. There are three campgrounds at Furnace Creek. Sunset, Furnace Creek, and Texas Spring. Sunset is basically a dirt lot with restrooms. However, it does have the best views and also the generator hours are the longest. Furnace Creek is adjacent to the golf course and has trees and random shaped campsites. Generators are more limited here. Texas Springs is more for tent camping and doesn't allow generators. Furnace Creek is a nice central place from which to explore Death Valley. There are hookup sites available at Stovepipe Wells.
