Monterey Fairgrounds, Monterey, California

This is where the Monterey Jazz Festival is held. A nice little fairground close to downtown Monterey and the Wharf. Easy access to the beach bike path along Del Monte Avenue. This is rated good due to its location. The grounds are clean as are the showers and restrooms. It is pretty much just a parking lot with closely spaced spaces but roomy enough for slides. We had a problem because the "designer" must have thought sh#% flows uphill. The hookups are along the edges of the lot which has a good slope to it. Most of the spaces sewer connection is above the RV drain outlets. This is a good place to use a macerator pump. Bring your bike for easy access to the wharf.
