Pismo Beach State Park, North Beach Campground

We stayed here Tuesday through Friday. We got an excellent campsite on the outside perimeter road away from the highway and by a nice grassy field with no reservation. The park wasn't crowded likely because it was mid-week and in mid-September. There were enough trees but we still had enough open sky for our Motosat to see the satellite. It's only about a 1/2 mile walk to downtown and the pier. Weekends and summer are probably a lot more crowded though.
