Shore Acres State Park West of Coos Bay Oregon.

The coast is quite interesting here.

In 1962 many trees were lost in a storm. This was probably one of them. The roots don’t seem to penetrate the ground at all. This is a rocky cliff. Must be hard for the trees.


The garden at Shore Acres is very nice. There is no charge to enter the gardens but there is a $3 day use fee, per car, to enter the park.

Nice flowers in the green house.

An interesting flower on a succulent in a hanging basket. I want one. A newt. I don’t want one.
